| RSVP Opens the Door to Your Volunteer Interests. Sometimes it’s difficult to sift through the maze of volunteer opportunities that there are. You may not know where to begin. We will use out resources and expertise to help you find the volunteer experience you’ve been looking for. Transportation Reimbursement RSVP will reimburse your mileage (.25/mile), your bus fare, or cab fare to and from your volunteer station. Volunteers are able to receive up to $50 a month in reimbursements. This can be very helpful, especially for those who drive for their volunteer work. Supplemental Accident and Liability Insurance Is available to all RSVP volunteers at no cost to them. This is in addition to any insurance you may already have. This insurance covers three areas: accident insurance, personal liability, insurance, and excess automobile insurance. A Bi-Monthly Newsletter Is sent to your mailbox to update you with the hottest volunteer opportunities. Inside you will also find the station spotlight and volunteer spotlight. These articles highlight the work of outstanding volunteers and stations that make a considerable impact. You’ll also find other updates and articles of interest. Yearly Volunteer Recognition Events Every year RSVP celebrates the work of our volunteers with a special event. What better way to celebrate but with food, awards, prizes and each other. |
